Karla Estrada celebrated her 48th birthday with a retro 1980s-themed party which was attended by family and close celebrity friends.
For the party, Estrada donned a black dress and bedazzled jean jacket, paired with dangling earrings and a shiny hair accessory, as seen on Nice Print Photography’s Instagram page today, Nov. 23.
Among the party attendees were Sen. Robin Padilla, Ruffa Gutierrez, Donita Rose, Nadia Montenegro and Marjorie Barretto. Estrada’s eldest son Daniel Padilla and his girlfriend Kathryn Bernardo, as well as her mother Min Bernardo, were also present during the event.
Estrada expressed appreciation to those who came to the celebration via her Instagram page yesterday, Nov. 22.
“Thank you so much to everyone who made time to celebrate my 48th birthday with me! From the very bottom of my heart, I’m genuinely grateful to all my guests, my family, my team and to all the hardworking suppliers who’ve made this retro 80’s night themed party, possible!” she said.
Estrada told fans that she considers herself blessed to be able to celebrate her birthday after the “roller coaster ride of emotions” brought by the COVID-19 pandemic.
“So once again, thank you for partying, dancing and drinking the night away with me! It’s been a blast turning 48 with you all! Much love to all of you!” she said.
Estrada, one of the original hosts of “Magandang Buhay,” temporarily left the morning talk show when she ran for a party-list seat in the May 9 elections. She then officially left the show on July 22 and was replaced by Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez in August. /ra
