WATCH: Maricel Soriano transforms into drag queen in parody video

Maricel Soriano got all glammed up as she transformed into a drag queen for the parody video “Pa Drag Race Den” with “Drag Race Philippines” alum Xilhouete.
The Diamond Star released “Pa Drag Race Den,” a play on the country’s two drag reality shows “Drag Race Philippines” and “Drag Den Philippines” as she celebrated getting 100,000 YouTube subscribers, as seen on her vlog last Sunday, Nov. 20.
Soriano got help from “Drag Den Philippines” contestant Shewarma to do her drag makeup for her alter ego: Kinang Inay. For the transformation, she donned a black off-shoulder top, black dangling earrings and a blonde wig.
“Dahil hindi pa ko nakaka-get over sa [‘Drag Race Philippines’] at excited na ko for [‘Drag Den Philippines’], gumawa muna ko ng sarili ko,” she told fans.
(Since I still haven’t gotten over “Drag Race Philippines” and I am excited for “Drag Den Philippines,” I made my own for now.)
As part of her drag makeover, Soriano also posed for a photo shoot with Xilhouete, as seen on her Instagram page last Monday, Nov. 20.
“Maraming maraming salamat po sa [100,000] subscribers ko sa Youtube! Sana ma-enjoy n’yo ang pinaghirapan naming vlog to celebrate this milestone. Nakakaloka, 9 hours of shoot in drag!” she said.

Xilhouete was one of the final four contestants in the recently concluded “Drag Race Philippines,” where Precious Paula Nicole was named the winner.
Meanwhile, “Drag Den Philippines” is set to premiere in December. The show will be hosted by “RuPaul’s Drag Race” alum Manila Luzon. /ra
