Presumptuous actress no match for peer’s natural intelligence
Bravado can only do so much to hide a person’s intellectual inadequacy or poor emotional quotient—and Icy Actress (IA) learned this the hard way.
In a recent interview to promote a project, which paired IA with her similarly in-demand costar, Spunky Beauty (SB), IA tried so hard to sound clever while looking seemingly nonchalant about the tricky question thrown her and SB’s way.
But it didn’t take long before IA’s “pabida” style overstayed its welcome. IA often manages to conceal her limited intelligence by replying as if the issue in question is the centerpiece of her activism.
However, when IA had her smarter, wiser and less unassuming costar beside her, IA quickly realized she couldn’t match SB’s spontaneous, wisdom-filled answers. While SB sounded sweet and sincere, IA’s answers felt shallow and forced… Tsk!
After a couple more questions that elicited consistently spot-on answers from SB, IA could only respond with a weak and unconvincing line, “Uhm… I agree.” She soon realized she was no match for her peer’s naturally bright mind.
