Jessy Mendiola and Luis Manzano held a blushing pink and floral baby shower to celebrate the upcoming arrival of their first child, who they nicknamed baby Peanut.
The couple can be seen spending time with loved ones at the event held in Las Piñas, as seen on Mendiola’s Instagram Stories yesterday, Oct. 19. The actress, who is 28 weeks pregnant, looked blooming in a pink floral dress, while Manzano donned a pink long-sleeved shirt.
Their guests were also treated to pink-frosted pastries and pink-colored drinks.

Mendiola and Manzano, who wed last year, announced last August that they are about to be parents. They revealed in the same month that they are expecting a baby girl.
The actress’ second trimester of pregnancy became quite a challenge for the couple because Mendiola tested positive for COVID-19 at the time. Fortunately, she eventually recovered from it after several days in isolation.
The couple then got to show their baby’s face in an ultrasound image through Mendiola’s vlog last September. /ra
