‘Drag Race Philippines,’ ‘Untucked’ series renewed for season 2
“Drag Race Philippines” fans will get to see more of the drag reality show and its behind-the-scenes series “Drag Race Philippines: Untucked” as both are renewed for a second season.
The production company World of Wonder (WOW) announced the series’ renewal, along with upcoming releases from other “Drag Race” franchises, via its Twitter page today, Oct. 19.
Aside from the second season of “Drag Race Philippines” and “Untucked,” WOW also revealed that “Drag Race France” season 2 has opened auditions, “Drag Race España: All Stars” in Spain has been commissioned and “Drag Race Sverige: Untucked” has been greenlit in Sweden.
A target premiere date, casting and other information on the second season of the local adaptation are yet to be revealed as of this writing.

“Drag Race Philippines,” based on the Emmy-winning “RuPaul’s Drag Race,” premiered last August under the streaming platforms HBO Go, Discovery Plus and Wow Presents Plus. It was hosted by actor Paolo Ballesteros, who also served as a main judge alongside celebrity impersonator KaladKaren and Filipino drag queen Jiggly Caliente.
