‘Encantadia’ spinoff? Mark Reyes drops mysterious ‘Sang’gre’ teaser
Is “Encantadia” getting a spinoff series? Director Mark Reyes caught the attention of fans of the hit fantaserye after he dropped a mysterious teaser seemingly inspired by the enchanted world of the GMA series.
The director showed what appears to be a poster featuring a black backdrop broken by a figure of a woman walking toward a beam of light. The photo also shows a script similar to the Enchan script of “Encantadia,” as seen on Reyes’ Instagram page yesterday, Oct. 17.
“This. #sanggre #encantadia #soon,” he said while tagging scriptwriter Suzette Doctolero and costume designer Noel Layon Flores. However, Reyes did not elaborate on the poster.

“Encantadia” first aired on GMA Network in 2005, with Iza Calzado, Sunshine Dizon, Diana Zubiri and Karylle as the four original Sang’gres. It then has a 2016 reboot which starred Kylie Padilla, Glaiza de Castro, Sanya Lopez and Gabbi Garcia. /ra
