Allan K set to reopen QC comedy bar after 2 years

Allan K is set to reopen his comedy bar, now known as Clowns Republik, two years after his Klownz and Zirkoh bars closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The comedian and TV host gave a peek at his comedy bar in Quezon City via his Instagram page yesterday, Oct. 11. He posed next to a clown mural by the establishment’s stage and gave a tour of its drinks bar.

“Hey! We’re back!” he told the public while showing the new logo for Clowns Republik.

While Allan K did not say when exactly  his bar will reopen, he teased that it will happen “very very soon.”

It can be recalled that Klownz and Zirkoh, both located at Quezon City, were closed back in June 2020 after Allan K reportedly filed for bankruptcy amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

At the time, Allan K was saddened by the closures of his businesses, but expressed gratitude to those who supported his comedy bars.  /ra
