“Maraming salamat sa lahat nang naging bahagi ng Klownz comedy bar. Sa mga tumangkilik, nakisaya, nakitawa at sinamahan kami sa loob ng 18 years, salamat ng marami,” he said.

(Thank you to those who have been a part of Klownz comedy bar. Those who supported, who laughed and joined us for the last 18 years, many thanks.)

In a report by the Philippine Entertainment Portal (PEP), Allan K was said to file for bankruptcy and close down Klownz as well as Zirkoh, which is located in Tomas Morato.

Allan K, along with the general manager of Zirkoh and Klownz Lito Alejandria, already broke the bad news to its employees, according to the PEP report.

Many businesses have temporarily closed down operations amid the COVID-19 pandemic. The Department of Labor and Employment said that more than 3,000 business establishments were reported to temporarily cease operations, leading to the displacement of 100,000 workers.

Currently, the Philippines has 40,336 COVID-19 cases, with 11,073 recoveries and 1,280 fatalities.
