Ivana Alawi and Vice Ganda’s upcoming comedy film “Partners in Crime” has given fans a peek at the actors’ first-ever team-up as it dropped its first teaser.
The teaser, released on Star Cinema’s YouTube channel yesterday, Oct. 10, showed the actress slamming the door several times while the comedian appears to be pleading to talk to her.
“Sugapa, fame whore, makasarili! Ayaw na kitang makita!” Alawi tells Vice Ganda whose nose is bleeding apparently because the door hit his face. (Greedy, fame whore, selfish! I do not want to see you anymore!)
“Break na tayo (Let’s break up!)!” Alawi continues, to which Vice Ganda responds, “Anong break e wala namang tayo? (What do you mean “let’s break up” when we are not in a relationship?) There was never an us.”
“Partners in Crime,” directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina, is among the official entries in the 48th Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF). Other films included in the annual film festival are Coco Martin and Jodi Sta. Maria’s “Labyu with an Accent”; Ian Veneracion and Heaven Peralejo’s “Nanahimik ang Gabi”; as well as Toni Gonzaga and Joey de Leon’s “The Teacher.” EDV
