Carlos Agassi undergoes surgery for knee injury: ‘Ang sakit sa katawan at bulsa’

Carlos Agassi is grateful for a successful surgery for his knee injury but he admitted that the operation caused pain both physically and financially.

Agassi gave a glimpse of moments from before and after the surgery, through his Instagram page on Tuesday, Sept. 13.

“Just finished a successful surgery. Thank you sa (for the) prayers and moral support, my family and friends,” he said. “Grabe ang sakit sa katawan at bulsa, iwas accident lang talaga and save up.” (It was really painful both for my body and my pocket. [One] should really prevent accidents and save up.)

“Mukhang retired na ko, coach team manager na lang ako,” he added. (I am probably retired now and would just be a coach [or] team manager.)

Agassi then expressed gratitude to his mom as well as his partner Sarina Yamamoto who took care of him and acted as his “guardian angel” through depression.

Agassi earlier figured in a basketball accident which left him unable to walk or move his leg. He is now home and currently recovering, as seen in a vlog on Yamamoto’s YouTube channel. JB
