Carlos Agassi unable to walk, move leg after basketball accident

Carlos Agassi asked fans to include him in their prayers as the actor currently cannot walk or move his leg due to a knee injury from an apparent basketball accident.

Agassi gave an update on his injury and expressed his hopes of recovering soon, through his Instagram page yesterday, Sept. 6.

“Please pray for me, [I] had a bad landing and my knee gave up and swayed side to side. [I can’t] walk or move my leg,” he said. “Sana (I hope to have a) speedy recovery and no need for surgery.”

“Freak accident before my 43rd birthday, I guess I’m retired na (already) from basketball,” he added. “Can’t believe I can’t stand or walk or bend.”

Agassi also lamented not being able to do any movement without the assistance of others, adding that being on bed rest makes him feel bored and depressed, as per his Instagram Stories.

In 2020, Agassi also got into a gym accident which caused damage to his face and gums. At the time, the actor reflected on the accidents he had experienced and how it coincidentally happened before he celebrated his birthday. JB
