“Drag Den Philippines,” the reality drag competition to be hosted by “RuPaul’s Drag Race” alum Manila Luzon, has just hinted at its arrival after a months-long pause.
The reality show dropped a teaser that features Manila Luzon peeking from a corner and holding a microphone, via its Instagram and Twitter pages yesterday, Sept. 13. The teaser was accompanied by the hashtag, “#justwokeup.”
This is the first update on “Drag Den Philippines” since last May, when Manila Luzon joked that the show was “just on Filipino time.”
“Don’t worry! [“Drag Den Philippines”] is coming… she’s just on Filipino time! Char!” the drag queen quipped at the time.

The show is produced by Project 8 Projects and Cornerstone Studios. A premiere date for the show is yet to be announced as of this writing.
Meanwhile, “Drag Race Philippines,” the local adaptation of “RuPaul’s Drag Race,” premiered last August. The show is hosted by actor-TV host Paolo Ballesteros, who also serves as a judge alongside celebrity impersonator KaladKaren and drag queen Jiggly Caliente. /ra
