Sheryn Regis has received a ring from her partner, YouTube content creator Mel de Guia, as they celebrated their first anniversary.
The singer flaunted the ring while expressing love for her partner via her Instagram page yesterday, Sept. 12.
“Langga (love) @meldeguia_ My heart leaps with joy and excitement because of this beautiful surprise [first] anniversary gift but most of all I am grateful. I have a lot of words to utter from my heart to thank you for everything that you have done for me,” she told De Guia.
“Thank you for the unconditional love. [First] year of being together speaks a lot of love, happiness, tears and joy of the challenges we encountered in our everyday lives. I thank the Lord for giving me YOU,” she added. “I love you more and more each day.”

Meanwhile, De Guia showed the moment she gave Regis the ring, on her TikTok page, also yesterday. Regis received the ring in front of their loved ones during De Guia’s birthday party.
“She really [had] no idea,” De Guia quipped, along with a ring emoji.

Regis came out as a lesbian during an interview with talent manager-comedian Ogie Diaz in December last year. At the time, she stressed that she was accepted by her ex-partner Earl Echiverri and daughter Sweety.
The singer gained fame after joining ABS-CBN’s reality talent competition “Search for the Star in a Million,” where she took the second place behind Erik Santos. Regis has since serenaded the public with various theme songs for ABS-CBN teleseryes including “Gulong ng Palad” and “Maria Flordeluna.” /ra
