Catriona Gray looked stunning in a dress made of recycled plastic when she attended the first-ever Vogue Philippines gala, alongside her fellow beauty queens and celebrities.
The Miss Universe 2018 titleholder can be seen in a white, strapless Jaggy Glarino dress with rose embellishments made out of recycled polyurethane plastic bottles, as seen on her Instagram page today, Aug. 30.
“Sustainability but make it VOGUE. What better way to celebrate the launch of @voguephilippines maiden issue and first ever Vogue Gala than by embodying one of Vogue’s values,” she said.
Gray went to the magazine event with her actor boyfriend Sam Milby, who looked dapper in an all-black ensemble, as seen on their management agency Cornerstone Entertainment’s Instagram page yesterday, Aug. 29.
Gray also reunited with her fellow beauty queens Pia Wurtzbach (Miss Universe 2015), Kylie Verzosa (Miss International 2016) and Megan Young (Miss World 2013) at the event, as seen in their respective Instagram Stories yesterday.
“Queen things only,” Verzosa said while showing herself, Gray, Wurtzbach and Young together at the Vogue gala.
“Kisses from your queens,” Young, meanwhile, quipped while showing all of them pouting.
Vogue Philippines launched its maiden issue yesterday. The magazine features Filipino-American model Chloe Magno as its first-ever cover girl, with portraits taken by British-Filipino-Egyptian photographer Sharif Hamza. /ra
