There is certainty in television. I believe one of those certainties is that when you have a quality that is maintained, then you would get great results. This train of thought applies to the upcoming third installment of the highly successful “Mano Po Legacy” television series with “The Flower Sisters” and based on the looks of it, and what I know so far, this will be closer to the theme of the first installment of the legendary movie series-turned-television series “Mano Po Legacy: The Family Fortune.” Right there, for me, is the gold standard of the said television series, and all others to follow should always be based on that when it comes to overall quality, presentation and theme.

“Mano Po Legacy: The Flower Sisters” feels very similar to that of the first “Mano Po Legacy” which generated a lot of star power and buzz with its all-star choices of female actors. This time around, “Mano Po Legacy: The Flower Sisters” is with a casting of four gorgeous actresses.

Its roster of stars is led by the iconic Aiko Melendez, who is one of the all-time great dramatic actresses and a Regal alumna. Next, you have demure, pretty and classy Beauty Gonzalez who has experienced a strong acting resurgence ever since she transferred to GMA Network. Next is, arguably, the best young natural kontrabida actress in Thea Tolentino who has been a mainstay for GMA Network ever since she got her big break more than a decade ago, and who has appeared in a steady stream of programs. Lastly, is model, singer and actress Angel Guardian, who to some could be seen as the “wild card” of the group. But trust me when I say that this stunning lass has earned this spot. She has worked hard for it and more importantly, she has the overall talent.

Now, the four ladies alone (Melendez, Gonzalez, Tolentino and Guardian) will get people interested, curious and anticipating their appearances in the third installment of “Mano Po Legacy: The Flower Sisters,” because let us be frank here, who does not want to watch four beautiful women on television? Watch out for “Mano Po Legacy: The Flower Sisters” to be aired soon on GMA Network.
