Melissa Ricks has revealed that she is pregnant with her second child—her first baby with her non-showbiz husband Michael Macatangay.

The “Star Circle Quest” alum announced the good news by giving a glimpse of her doctor’s appointment, accompanied by a child’s voice as audio, via her Instagram page yesterday, Aug. 25.

“When the time is right, I, the Lord, will make it happen,” Ricks quoted the Bible.

Ricks then flaunted her baby bump as she and Macatangay cradled her tummy in her Instagram post today, Aug. 25. She noted that she is currently 16 weeks pregnant and her baby is about the size of an avocado.

Fellow celebrities who sent congratulatory greetings to Ricks include Jessy Mendiola, Bianca Manalo and Joross Gamboa.

Ricks and Macatangay have been married for a year. They tied the knot in a ceremony in the United States back in May 2021. Meanwhile, the actress has another child, Kiera, whom she had with her former partner Charles Togezaki.  /ra
