Ben&Ben has brought heartbreak feels to the streets as they dropped a cryptic quote via a billboard, seemingly hinting at a new song.

The folk pop act gave fans a peek at the billboard, which bannered the words “So I apologize, for coming into your life,” via its Facebook and Twitter pages today, Aug. 20. The display is located near Guadalupe Bridge along Epifanio de los Santos Avenue (EDSA).

“Left you a message [at] EDSA Guadalupe billboard,” the band stated.

Fans were then quick to talk about their speculations on the meaning behind the billboard, with some noting the band might be gearing up to “hurt us again.”

“Mananakit na naman sila guys!” one @__Akishaaaa__ quipped. (They are about to hurt us again, guys!)

“Is [this] new song?” another netizen, @niqueyc_ asked fellow fans.

“Mapanakit na naman ‘tong bagong kanta n’yo for sure,'” one @memakyuun said. (This new song of yours is going to hurt me again for sure.)

Ben&Ben first hinted at a new song last Tuesday, Aug. 16, by posting “new song lyrics” on its Twitter page.

“We broke up because, sometimes it is the best thing to do,” the quote stated.

If Ben&Ben will indeed release a new sad song, this adds to their list of heartbreaking tracks including “Sa Susunod na Habang-buhay,” “Masyado Pang Maaga” and “Langyang Pag-Ibig,” among others.

The nine-piece band also released the song “Paninindigan Kita” and its official music video last June. This was followed earlier this month by the track’s English version which they performed with Indonesian singer-songwriter Pamungkas.

Ben&Ben is currently preparing for its major send-off concert to be held at CCP Open Grounds on Sept. 3, ahead of their first North American tour.  /ra
