The long wait is finally over! BLACKPINK has made its much-anticipated return with the release of its comeback single, “Pink Venom.”

The South Korean girl group released the official music video for “Pink Video” on its YouTube channel today, Aug. 19. Jennie, Lisa, Jisoo and Rosé awed fans with their dance moves as they moved to the catchy tune of the song.

The music video features the quartet against a series of futuristic backdrops, accompanied with rap verses and an electronic beat.

“I bring the pain like… This, that pink venom / Get ’em, get ’em, get ’em / Straight to ya dome like woah, woah, woah,” BLACKPINK sings.

“Pink Venom” serves as a teaser to K-pop girl group’s upcoming second album “Born Pink,” to be released on Sept. 16. It is BLACKPINK’s second full-length album, following their debut “The Album” back in 2020.

BLACKPINK is set to perform in the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards later this month. This makes them the first female K-pop act to perform at the annual event and the fourth among all girl groups, following TLC, Spice Girls and Fifth Harmony.

The group will then embark on their “Born Pink” world tour starting October and will hold their second concert in Manila in March 2023.  /ra
