Michael V. contracts COVID-19 for second time: ‘Round two, fight!’
Michael V. has revealed that he tested positive for COVID-19 again, marking the second time he caught the coronavirus.
The comedian disclosed his condition while showing a positive COVID-19 test on his Instagram page today, July 23.
“ROUND 2… FIGHT! Nakatanggap ako ng notification from my old friend, COVID. Matagal na kaming hindi nagkikita,” he said.
(Round two… fight! I received a notification from my old friend, [COVID-19]. We have not seen each other for a long time. Actually, I told it not to return but here it is… it just wanted to say “Hi” and give a reminder that it is just around the corner. It did not really leave, it just kept on moving from house to house.)
Michael V. added that his family, community and job have been affected due to COVID-19.
(I could not blame it because it did not fall short when it comes to reminders. Some people are just stubborn sometimes. So [COVID-19], here is my message to you: You are still not welcome in my home. But thank you for the visit. Do not worry… even if I am annoyed with you, I will never forget you.)
