Michael V. contracts COVID-19 for second time: ‘Round two, fight!’
Michael V. has revealed that he tested positive for COVID-19 again, marking the second time he caught the coronavirus.
The comedian disclosed his condition while showing a positive COVID-19 test on his Instagram page today, July 23.
“ROUND 2… FIGHT! Nakatanggap ako ng notification from my old friend, COVID. Matagal na kaming hindi nagkikita,” he said. “Actually sinabihan ko na s’ya na ‘wag nang bumalik pero eto na naman s’ya… magha-‘Hi’ lang daw at magpapa-alala na nandito lang s’ya sa tabi-tabi. Hindi naman daw talaga s’ya umalis, palipat-lipat lang s’ya ng bahay.”
(Round two… fight! I received a notification from my old friend, [COVID-19]. We have not seen each other for a long time. Actually, I told it not to return but here it is… it just wanted to say “Hi” and give a reminder that it is just around the corner. It did not really leave, it just kept on moving from house to house.)
Michael V. added that his family, community and job have been affected due to COVID-19.

Kaya COVID, eto ang message ko sa ‘yo: Hindi ka pa rin welcome sa bahay. Pero salamat na rin sa dalaw,” he stated. “Hayaan mo… kahit bad trip ako sa ‘yo, hinding-hindi kita makakalimutan.”
