Liza Soberano is having the time of her life in the United States as she met another international artist, Korean-American singer Woosung of the South Korean band The Rose.
The actress got to see Woosung, along with his other companions, during her visit to Manhattan, New York, as seen on her Instagram page today, June 9. She also got to see the K-pop artist do a live performance of his song “Face.”
“New York (for a) Minute,” she said.
Soberano’s post caught the attention of American author Kevin Kwan, as well as “90 Day Fiance” star Rosemarie Vega.
“You’re in my old neighborhood. Enjoy!” Kwan told Soberano.
“Ganda po dyan (It is beautiful there),” Vega said.
Woosung, whose real name is Kim Woo-sung, is a Korean-American singer, songwriter, rapper and composer. His band The Rose is known for such songs as “Sorry,” “Red,” “She’s in the Rain” and “Black Rose,” among others.
Aside from Woosung, Soberano also met Filipino-American singer and TikTok star Bella Poarch earlier this month.
Soberano has been spending time in the US just as her former manager Ogie Diaz announced that she is now managed by the team of her fellow actor James Reid.
Diaz stated that the actress chose to change her management team to pursue a career in Hollywood, which has “always been a dream” for her. /ra
