Miss World Philippines titleholders Katarina Rodriguez, Laura Lehmann and Valerie Weigmann are joining forces to host the upcoming Miss World Philippines 2022 pageant.
On its Instagram and Facebook pages, the Miss World Philippines Organization (MWPH) announced yesterday, June 3, that the three “exceptional empowered” beauty queens will be hosting the pageant tomorrow, June 5, at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.
“Hello Philippines, hello world! Introducing our hosts for the coronation night of Miss World Philippines 2022 on June 5 at the Mall of Asia Arena,” it stated.
Weigmann was hailed Miss World Philippines in 2014. Lehmann was then crowned in 2017, followed by Rodriguez in 2018.
MWPH also noted that special guests to the beauty pageant are set to be revealed soon.
MWPH recently announced the top 10 finalists in its top model, “Beauty with a Purpose” and national costume competitions ahead of the finals night.
The pageant’s 36 candidates will be vying for the following crowns: Miss World Philippines, Miss Supranational Philippines, Miss Eco Philippines and Reina Hispanoamericana Filipinas.
Reigning Miss World Philippines Tracy Maureen Perez represented the country in the global Miss World pageant last March and finished in the competition’s top 13. Karolina Bielawska of Poland was crowned Miss World 2021. /ra
