Angel Locsin has received thanks from volunteers of the Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting (PPCRV), after she sent them food packs amid their parallel count of the May 9 presidential elections.
The Church-based volunteer poll watchers expressed their gratitude to the actress-philanthropist while showing the food packs she sent, as seen on its Facebook page yesterday, May 13.
“Thank you to our real-life Darna, Ms. Angel Locsin, for the [food packs] para sa ating (for our) #PPCRVvolunteers!” the organization stated. “Nakakabusog hindi lang sa tiyan pati na sa puso (They fill not only the stomach but also the heart)! You are a true angel indeed! God bless you po.”
PPCRV’s command center will operate until Friday, May 20, at the University of Santo Tomas Quadricentennial Pavilion.
PPCRV spokesperson Vann Dela Cruz stated that they are “not seeing anything that should be of any concern” from their unofficial parallel count, as of Wednesday, May 11. He also assured that they will inform the public if any issues arise.
The poll watchdog also recently said that there are “no irregularities” in the alleged “68:32 magic.” This is a claim that for every update on the vote count, there was a consistent pattern of 68 percent and 32 percent going to presumptive president Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. and Vice President Leni Robredo, respectively. /ra
