WATCH: Yeng Constantino gives tour of ‘dream tiny home’ with husband
Yeng Constantino has taken fans on a tour of her “dream tiny home” in the province, which she shares with her husband, fellow musician Yan Asuncion.
The singer and judge for “Tawag ng Tanghalan” on “It’s Showtime” showed off her new farmhouse’s wrap-around balcony, living room, kitchen and lofted bedroom via her “Dream Tiny Home series” YouTube vlog yesterday, May 3.
The home stands on a platform overlooking the farm of Constantino’s family. Its roof is decked with anahaw leaves and its interior is mostly made of wood and cement.
“Rough finish lang ‘yung house, ibang-iba from sa bahay namin sa Manila. So ‘yun din talaga ‘yung ginoal namin ni Yan. Gusto namin na the moment na makita namin ‘yung bahay, alam namin na ibang-iba talaga ‘yung vibe niya sa bahay namin sa Manila,” Constantino said.
(The house is just a rough finish, very different from our house in Manila. So that’s really the goal of Yan and me. We want that the moment we see the house, we know that its vibe is very different from the one we have in Manila.)

The home also has two barn doors in its main entrance and bathroom. This was inspired by the tiny homes that Constantino saw online.

Constantino revealed last February that she and Asuncion had been building a home in the province. She noted that since she and her husband would often visit her family at their farm, they opted to get a home built on the property as well.
The couple have been married for seven years. They tied the knot at Hacienda Isabella in Indang, Cavite, in February 2015. /ra
