Kris Aquino was not able to take her scheduled flight abroad for treatments with her children, after her doctors advised her not to travel yet due to high blood pressure.
Aquino shared what happened and recalled the conversation she had with fellow celebrity and friend Angel Locsin the night before the flight, as per Aquino’s comment on Locsin’s Instagram page yesterday, May 3.
“Gel, ikaw kasi, last night sinabi mo na ‘sana hindi ka pa makatuloy, Ate…’ I said, ‘Gel please don’t be mean, you know kailangan na talaga’ then you said: ‘sorry Ate, selfish ako, di pa ko ready mag let go,'” Aquino said.
(Gel, this is because of you. Last night you told me, “I hope you will not be able to go for now, older sister.” I said, “Gel please don’t be mean, you know that I really need it,” then you said, “Sorry, older sister. I am selfish and I am not yet ready to let go.”)
“Grabe your gift of I don’t know if premonition or pang-awat, true enough nasa airport na si kuya Josh, Bimb and Rochelle. My doctors didn’t clear me to travel 140/92 waking [blood pressure], 136/93 pa rin until now… hindi ko kakayanin yung long haul flight,” she added.

The Queen of All Media also gave an update on how she has been for the past weeks, while asking Locsin to visit her. Locsin then replied to Aquino, stating that she is still in Cebu but she will visit as soon as she can.
“Nag asthma attack last night, more than 6 weeks of chronic sinusitis, [sobra-sobra] ang pagkabilib at paglove ko sa ‘yo. But please makakadalaw ka naman diba?” Aquino said.
([I had] asthma attack last night and more than six weeks of chronic sinusitis. I admire and love you so much but please, you will still be able to visit me, right?)

In a separate comment, Aquino said that she already rebooked a flight for tomorrow, May 5, adding that she “badly needs to go to Houston.” Aquino appeared to have taken down the said comment but it was already uploaded by fan sites on social media.
Aquino also expressed her appreciation to Locsin, describing her as the “younger sister she never had” and someone who “inspires her to be better.”

Aquino earlier stated that she will be leaving the country “in a few days.” The Queen of All Media, who has been diagnosed with erosive gastritis and gastric ulcer on top of her autoimmune disease, will be staying abroad for more than a year for her medical treatments. JB
