Kylie Verzosa tears up on relationship question amid breakup rumors with Jake Cuenca

Kylie Verzosa was not able to hold back when asked about a breakup-related question recently, just as her relationship with actor Jake Cuenca is speculated to be on the rocks.
Speculations that the couple have broken up arose after Verzosa tweeted the word “Broken” last Sunday, April 17. Although fans replied to the beauty queen by asking about her and Cuenca’s status, Verzosa has not given any response yet, as of writing.
Verzosa, one of the judges in an “It’s Showtime” segment, teared up after she was asked by comedian-host Vice Ganda if she can relate to the question given to a contestant, in an episode of the noontime show on ABS-CBN Entertainment’s YouTube channel yesterday, April 19. The question was about identifying if a hard situation in a relationship poses a challenge or if it is a sign to break up.
“May pinagdadaanan ka bang challenge o may nakikita kang signs?” Vice Ganda asked Verzosa. (Are you going through a challenge [in your relationship] or are you seeing signs?)
Verzosa was not able to answer him as she turned emotional and repeatedly said sorry. She was then hugged by Vice Ganda and her fellow segment judges Ruffa Gutierrez and Chie Filomeno.
“Pero ‘wag naman nating isiping may pinagdadaanan, baka may naisip lang siya na ano. Minsan ‘di ba kahit hindi tayo, naa-affect tayo,” the comedian said. (But let’s not assume that she is going through a challenge. Maybe she just thought of something. Sometimes, even when we are not in the same situation, we get affected.)
While Gutierrez suggested asking Verzosa if she wanted to share what happened, Vice Ganda opted not to ask questions. Verzosa then composed herself and clarified, “Na-touch lang ako.” (I was just touched.)
Verzosa and Cuenca confirmed their relationship in 2019, with Cuenca admitting that he was attracted to the beauty queen since he saw her on the set of the 2017 film “Ang Panday.” JB
