Ben&Ben’s Paolo and Miguel Guico with Jillian Robredo
Jillian Robredo, presidential candidate Vice President Leni Robredo’s youngest daughter, had her fangirl moment after Ben&Ben’s Paolo and Miguel Guico visited their home and sang with her.
Jillian, Paolo and Miguel jammed to Ben&Ben’s hit songs “Araw-Araw” and “Kathang Isip,” as seen on VP Leni’s Facebook page yesterday, April 16. The singers also bonded with the vice president and her other daughters Aika and Tricia.
“Paolo and Miguel were spending their Holy Week in Bicol with their family and what a treat for all of us when they decided to drop by,” VP Leni said. “Best surprise for Jillian, who is a great fan.”
The vice president then commended the singers’ talents and expressed her appreciation for their kind gesture.
“Always amazed when celebrities as popular as them remain so humble and grounded. And they’re even better up close,” she stated.
Ben&Ben, a vocal supporter of VP Leni, also earlier performed in her Pasig campaign rally. Other artists who were present at the said event were Angel Locsin, Donny Pangilinan, Elijah Canlas, Kokoy de Santos and Jolina Magdangal, among others.
Meanwhile, Ben&Ben collaborated with Google for their song “Mag-Ingat” which urges the public to verify the information they see online to avoid being fooled. The band also recently held their first live show in Dubai since the pandemic. JB
