Bea Alonzo has finally begun taping for one of her first projects as a Kapuso, the Philippine adaptation of the hit Korean drama “Start-Up.”

The actress gave a glimpse of her first  shooting day, which took place at a high-rise building showing the sunset, as seen on her Instagram page yesterday, April 4.

“First taping day for my new series as a Kapuso,” she said. “Thank you, Lord, for blessing us with this beautiful sunset today. This reminded us of how wonderful you are and how amazing your plans are for each and everyone one of us. I trust that you will guide me as I embark on this new journey.”

Alonzo then addressed her character, Dani, while expressing excitement over the new series.

“Handa na akong makilala ka, Dani. #StartUp,” she added. (I’m ready to meet you, Dani.)

Alonzo was revealed to be part of the cast of “Start-Up” last month, amid speculations that a local adaptation for the series was in the works. She will be starring alongside Alden Richards, Jeric Gonzales and Yasmien Kurdi.

Alonzo signed her contract with GMA Network in July 2021, after about 20 years of being with ABS-CBN. According to the actress, “Start-Up” was offered to her prior to her transfer and it pushed her to become a Kapuso.

The original “Start-Up” Korean drama is about young entrepreneurs in the world of startup companies. It stars Korean actors Bae Suzy, Nam Joo-hyuk, Kang Han-na and Kim Seon-ho.  /ra
