Bea Alonzo survives battle with COVID-19, urges public to get booster shots
Bea Alonzo revealed that she tested positive for the coronavirus last month as she encouraged the public to get their COVID-19 booster shots.
The actress told fans about her ordeal with the coronavirus in early January while showing herself getting her COVID-19 jab on her Instagram page yesterday, Feb. 8. Alonzo did not state what vaccine brand she received and where she got the shot.
“Got boosted last night! The start of this year was challenging. I caught [COVID-19] early January (just like most people because of the [COVID-19] surge),” she said.
Alonzo recalled that while battling the disease, she struggled with the “worst” muscle spasm while preparing for her “dream shoot” for a brand endorsement.
“It was a challenging moment, I got most of the symptoms and I was having a hard time breathing, but I survived!” she added. “Posting this to encourage you to get the booster if you haven’t already. Let’s help end this pandemic.”
