“Crash Landing on You” stars Hyun Bin and Son Ye-jin’s official wedding portraits have been released to the public, ahead of the couple’s wedding.
Hyun Bin’s agency, VAST Entertainment, gave fans a first look at the couple’s wedding via its Instagram page today, March 31. Hyun and Son can be seen holding hands in two different wedding outfits, under what appears to be an archway of pink flowers and in front of a white backdrop.
One showed Hyun in an all-white suit, while Son looked stunning in a white gown with an asymmetrical neckline and sheer embellishments. Another featured Hyun in a white coat with a black bowtie and pants, while Son was smiling widely in a white sleeveless dress.
“Actors Son Ye Jin and Hyun Bin are holding their wedding ceremony today, taking their first step as a married couple. The ceremony will be private in consideration of the situation with COVID-19, so we ask for your generous understanding. We are sharing the news with their wedding photos instead,” VAST stated in Korean, as translated by Soompi, also today.
The agency thanked fans for their love and support for the couple’s “new beginning.” It also assured them that it will “continue to put in full effort to give back the love received.”
Hyun and Son’s private wedding will be held at 4 p.m. today (Korean time) at the Grand Walkerhill Seoul in Gwangjin-gu, eastern Seoul. It will be attended by the couple’s parents, relatives and friends.
No further details about the ceremony were given, although Hyun’s longtime friend, actor Jang Dong-gun, is expected to give a congratulatory speech.
Hyun and Son first starred together in the 2018 South Korean crime thriller film “The Negotiation.” They then worked together in the hit romantic comedy series “Crash Landing on You” in 2019.
The couple confirmed that they are in a relationship in early 2021, then announced in February that they would be tying the knot after two years together. /ra
