Jason Momoa has clarified that he and actress Lisa Bonet didn’t get back together amid speculations on their supposed reconciliation, although he stressed that they remain “a family.”
Speculations arose after an unnamed friend of Momoa disclosed to HollywoodLife that the actor moved back in with his wife, adding that the couple “decided to work on things.”
Momoa spoke up about his and Bonet’s relationship after TV host Scott Evans mentioned how it is such an “encouragement” to see Momoa and Bonet back together. Their exchange happened during Momoa’s exclusive interview with “Access Hollywood” at the Oscars red carpet, as seen on Access’ YouTube channel on Monday, March 28.
“Oh no, we’re not back together. We’re family. We have two beautiful children together. We’re not getting back together [but] we’re family forever,” Momoa said.
The “Aquaman” star then grooved to Beyoncé’s hit song “Single Ladies” when asked what “Beyoncé mood” he was in.
Momoa and Bonet got married in 2017 but started dating in 2005. Their separation was announced by Momoa in January in an Instagram post, which has since been removed from his page.
Meanwhile, Momoa recently showed support to Zoë Kravitz, Bonet’s daughter with rock star Lenny Kravitz, by attending the “The Batman” premiere, where Zoë starred as Catwoman. Momoa went to the premiere with Channing Tatum, Zoë’s boyfriend. Anne Pasajol/JB
