Kit Thompson allegedly injured, detained girlfriend Ana Jalandoni

Kit Thompson has reportedly been taken to a police station for questioning for allegedly injuring and detaining his girlfriend, actress Ana Jalandoni.

Tagaytay police confirmed that they had rescued Jalandoni after receiving a call from a hotel in Tagaytay, ABS-CBN’s Niko Baua reported via Twitter today, March 18.

Jalandoni reportedly sent a photo of herself while asking for help from her friends, who then alerted authorities. The hotel staff also notified Tagaytay police after they checked on a commotion happening in the couple’s hotel room.

Jalandoni was taken to an emergency room to undergo treatment for her injuries while Thompson was being processed by Tagaytay police. Hotel staff were also expected to give a statement to authorities.

Thompson’s management, Cornerstone Entertainment, had yet to receive a formal report about the said incident, as per a statement obtained by Baua, also on Twitter today. The agency requested the public to “be mindful of casting judgment based on unfounded reports being circulated online.”
