Heart Evangelista proved she is not just a shopaholic for luxury goods as she gamely accepted a challenge for her to buy from a sari-sari store, as well as eat Filipino street food.
The actress bought various items such as biscuits and chips during her sari-sari store shopping experience, shown on her Instagram page yesterday, Feb. 24. This comes after Evangelista asked fans on her Instagram Story, also yesterday, to give her a dare that they would want her to do.
“Challenge accepted! Sari-sari store shopping! [Ang] saya saya! Brings back my childhood memories,” she said.
Evangelista then treated customers who passed by the store, including a child who requested the actress to buy him a chocolate drink.
Evangelista was also challenged to eat street food and she appeared to have enjoyed it too, based on her Instagram Story today, Feb. 25. She showed herself eating fish balls while licking her lips and giving an “OK” hand gesture.
“So good!” she exclaimed. “Ang saya (So fun)!”
Aside from sari-sari store shopping and eating street food, Evangelista was dared to ride a jeepney though she is yet to do so as of this writing.
Evangelista’s fellow celebrities Pia Wurtzbach, Dianne Medina and Kakai Bautista were amused that the actress took on the challenges.
“Ang cute mo (You’re so cute)!” Bautista told Evangelista. Meanwhile, Wurtzbach and Medina sent Evangelista heart emoji.
Evangelista wowed fans in a daring sheer dress when she turned 37 years old last Valentine’s Day.
The actress also recently marked her anniversary with her husband, Sorsogon governor Francis “Chiz” Escudero. She gifted him a luxury watch to mark the occasion. /ra
