Dingdong Dantes warns against fake LinkedIn account posing as him
Dingdong Dantes has asked the public to help in reporting a fake LinkedIn account that is using his name, photo and credentials to pose as him.
The Kapuso actor informed fans about his impostor while showing a screenshot of the fake LinkedIn page on his Instagram Story last Monday, Jan. 24. He also gave a link to the said poser account that bears his real name, Jose Sixto Dantes III.
“It has come to my attention that a fake Jose Sixto Dantes III LinkedIn account with my photo, name, and credentials, has been actively responding to messages and scheduling online and on-site meetings with individuals on my behalf,” he said. “Please be informed that the profile Jose Sixto Dantes III with over 400 connections on LinkedIn is not me nor is it being handled by anyone I know.”
He then urged the public to report the fake account and direct their concerns to the official email accounts of his foundation, YesPinoy Foundation, and delivery service, DingDong.
It appears that as of this writing, though, the fake account has been removed from the platform as a link leading to it now shows a warning stating that the “profile is not available.”
