Joyce Pring and her husband, actor Juancho Triviño, apparently faced an ordeal with COVID-19 as Pring revealed that they are now in recovery.
The TV host-vlogger opened up about her family’s COVID-19 experience while showing Triviño with their son on her Instagram page yesterday, Jan. 20.
“Our little family just weathered a bout with the ‘vid and I’m glad we’re all finally recovering,” she told fans.
Pring pointed out that COVID-19 is both a mental and physical battle and stressed the importance of faith in dealing with the disease.
“[What] I kept holding onto in the daze of the disease was this: it’s never about peace despite circumstances, but peace with God. I think the hardest thing about sickness is it forces us to come face to face with our own fragile existence — and even worse, the fragile existence of those we love,” she added.
Despite these challenges, Pring encouraged the public to trust God “through all of life’s [seasons]….”
Pring then extended her prayers to those who are in quarantine or recovering from the disease.
“Praise God for our restored health!” she said.
Pring did not disclose further details about their COVID-19 battle. Meanwhile, she showed herself with Triviño and their baby, calling them “the ‘VID survivors,” as seen on her Instagram Story, also yesterday.
Pring and Triviño tied the knot in 2020 after meeting as co-hosts in GMA’s morning show “Unang Hirit.” They welcomed their son Alonso Eliam in July last year. /ra
