Hard-driving director treats his actors like robots

Even the most patient of actors gets tested to the limits. In the case of Lenient Sweetheart (LS), this happened during a three-day shoot for a digital series. There was this one particular day when he was made to wake up early and finish different action scenes under the scorching heat. He likewise shot other “big” scenes until sundown.

Later that night, he requested a 15-minute break so he could sleep but his director, Heartless Controller (HC), did not allow it. HC’s assistants pounded on LS’s bedroom door until he opened up. As a result, the usual take-one actor kept committing mistakes. One short scene took him 45 minutes to finish. This embarrassed LS so much that he was reduced to tears.

The following day, HC even had the gall to come up to LS to say, “I forgive you.” LS never spoke publicly about the project nor posted anything on his social media accounts to promote it.
