Alodia Gosiengfiao wowed fans not just because of how stunning she looked in a red-carpet event, but also because of a remark that she recently said.
The cosplay star and vlogger went to an event in California donning a gold Mara Chua gown inspired by the character Leona from “League of Legends,” as seen on her Facebook page yesterday, Jan. 13.
Fans may have been drawn to Gosiengfiao’s caption for the said moment, which they speculate alludes to her past relationship with her ex-boyfriend, fellow vlogger Wil Dasovich.
“Hi. Ako nga pala yung sinayang mo,” she said. (Hi. I’m the one you wasted, by the way.)
While the cosplayer did not mention Dasovich’s name, her sister Ashley Gosiengfiao appeared to have teased her by asking, “Tag ko na ba (Should I tag)?” This prompted netizens to mention Dasovich and speculate that the remark was addressed to him.
Dasovich, meanwhile, responded to Ashley, noting that his cellphone had been “blowing up.”
“‘Wag na, nagbo-blow up na [phone] ko. Alam ko na! Naku po,” he quipped. His comment has since been removed, though it was captured by several fans.
Alodia confirmed on Nov. 14, 2021, that she and Dasovich had broken up for “a while.” She did not reveal the cause of their split.
Dasovich announced in 2018 that he and Alodia were in a relationship, after she was seen in several of his YouTube videos at the time. The pair endured various ups and downs together as Dasovich was battling colon cancer for most of their first year as a couple.
Dasovich, who was declared cancer-free in early 2018, credits Gosiengfiao for helping him get through the tough time. According to him, Alodia flew to San Francisco to be with him for some of his cancer treatments. /ra
