LJ Reyes to daughter Summer on her 3rd birthday: ‘You’re a God-sent angel’

LJ Reyes marked her daughter Summer’s third birthday by calling the little girl a “God-sent angel” who brings so much happiness to her.
The actress showed adorable moments of her child on her Instagram page yesterday, Jan. 4. Summer is Reyes’ only child with her former partner, actor Paolo Contis.
Reyes showed Summer dancing in an angel costume, bundled up in a coat and running in a white onesie, among others.
“I wanna say ‘I can’t believe you’re [three]!’ but it has always felt like you’re much older than you actually are!” Reyes addressed Summer. “You are a God-sent angel who never fails to brighten up our day with your non-stop talking and singing, and dancing too!”
Reyes then thanked Summer for bringing so much joy to her life and said she is grateful to be Summer’s mother.
“Continue making pa-cute to mommy kasi kilig na kilig ako (because I get so giddy). I love you so much, my love Summer! Happiest birthday!” she added.

This is Summer’s first birthday since Reyes and Contis’ split was announced by Contis’ manager Lolit Solis in August last year. Solis asserted that the breakup was a mutual decision, but Reyes refuted this.
Reyes is currently in New York with Summer and her eldest child Aki, whom she had with actor Paulo Avelino. They are all staying with the actress’ New York-based family, in the wake of her separation from Contis. Reyes also said Contis made “no efforts” to communicate with her after their split.
Contis eventually admitted that he cheated on Reyes, but insisted that his “A Faraway Land” co-star Yen Santos was not involved in the breakup. However, Contis and Santos were reportedly seen together in Boracay and were rumored to have spent her birthday together, leading fans and observers to speculate that the two may already be an item. /ra
