Heaven Peralejo graduates from college despite initial plan to quit studies

Heaven Peralejo has finally finished her bachelor’s degree in business management despite her previous plans to no longer finish her studies.
The actress announced that she is now a college graduate by showing her graduation photo on her Instagram page last Friday, Dec. 17. Peralejo earned her degree from Southville International School Affiliated with Foreign Universities.
“Graduate! I honestly never thought magagawa ko (I could do it),” she said. “Although I have to admit, finishing school never really crossed my mind anymore since I’m already earning.”
Despite these initial thoughts, Peralejo’s mother insisted that she finish her studies since a career as an actress can “disappear anytime.”
“My mom kept on reminding me (more on to the nagging side na) pasok ang litanya, ‘Ang pagaartista pwedeng mawala anytime. Pero kung nakatapos ka, pwede mong magamit ito to change career,'” she recalled.
(My mom kept on reminding me, more on to the nagging side already, with the litany, “Acting can disappear anytime. But if you graduate, you can use it to change careers.”)

Peralejo thanked her family for being her “best support system” and for keeping her grounded. She also expressed her gratitude to her teachers and friends for being her inspiration.
“The lessons and insights that this journey has imparted in me have made it much more memorable,” she added. “Through it all, and what lies ahead — I am very grateful and blessed. Thank you, Lord. Lahat ng ito (All of this) [is] because of you!”
Peralejo was congratulated by fellow celebrities, including Iza Calzado, Karylle and vlogger Kimpoy Feliciano. JB
