She’s still at it! Miss Philippines Beatrice Luigi Gomez just made it to top 5 in the Miss Universe competition being held today, Dec. 13.
Gomez, who looked radiant in a gold high-slit dress for the evening gown competition, joined candidates from India, South Africa, Paraguay and Colombia in the top 5.
Gomez is hoping to win the fifth crown for the Philippines, following Gloria Diaz, Margie Moran, Pia Wurtzbach and Catriona Gray.
Gomez represented Cebu City when she competed in the Miss Universe Philippines pageant last September, making history as the first member of the LGBTQ+ community to be given the local title. JB
