Jun Lana, Perci Intalan separate after 18 years as couple
Filmmakers Jun Robles Lana and Perci Intalan have decided to “part ways amicably” after an 18-year relationship as a couple, eight years of which in marriage.
Lana announced their separation with the assurance that their co-parenting and business relationship will still remain, as seen on his Twitter page last Friday, Dec. 10. The two are regarded by local film fans as a power couple for their acclaimed creative ventures.
“Perci and I have decided to part ways amicably. We wish each other well and will continue to be active co-parents for our children [and] business partners for our company,” the director said.
Lana did not disclose the reason behind their separation and asked for privacy while settling their personal matters.
“We request for privacy as we navigate this transition. Thank you all for your understanding [and] support,” he said.

The couple got married in October 2013 after 10 years of being together. The wedding was held in Central Park, New York. Same-sex marriage has been legally recognized by the said state since 2011.
Lana and Intalan are the founders of The IdeaFirst Company, the creative content company behind the award-winning films “Kalel, 15,” “Bwakaw” and “Die Beautiful,” among others, as well as the critically acclaimed series “Gameboys.” JB
