LOOK: Jake Ejercito shows throwback moments with Ellie on her 10th birthday
Jake Ejercito took a trip down memory lane as he marked his daughter Ellie’s 10th birthday with throwback moments of her as a baby.
The actor, who recently visited Ellie in Siargao for her birthday, showed baby photos of his daughter on his Instagram page yesterday, Nov. 23. He also showed a recent photo of them together.
“Carrying you through the waves of life for a decade now! And I promise to continue doing so endlessly, every single day,” he said. “There will never be enough room in this world for daddy’s love for you. Happy birthday, my love.”

Ejercito also bonded with Ellie’s half-sister Lilo, as seen in his Instagram Story, also yesterday. The father and daughter duo appeared to have eaten a meal together with Lilo.
Ellie is Ejercito’s child with his ex-girlfriend, Andi Eigenmann. The actress is now engaged to celebrity surfer Philmar Alipayo.
Meanwhile, Eigenmann greeted Ellie on her birthday by showing a photo of them together in her Instagram Story yesterday.
“She’s been busy growing up and doing her own thing with her friends lately so I spent the entire day [with her just doing] whatever and going wherever she wanted! I love you very much, my girl,” Eigenmann addressed her daughter.
“I hope your first day as a ten year old has been [going well for you] and that you won’t mind having me tag along your adventures ’til we are old and [gray]!” she added.
Eigenmann and Ejercito have been co-parenting Ellie. The actor previously told Philippine Daily Inquirer that he and Eigenmann try to exclude their daughter from “all the drama” when they have disagreements in co-parenting. He also said they do their best to give her a “sense of normalcy” in the setup. /ra
