Jennylyn Mercado still starring in ‘Love, Die, Repeat,’ resumes shooting in 2022
Jennylyn Mercado is beyond grateful that she will still be starring in the upcoming series “Love, Die, Repeat,” amid speculations that she may be replaced by another actress after revealing her pregnancy.
The lock-in taping for “Love, Die, Repeat” was paused last September due to a “medical emergency” involving Mercado. This led fans to speculate that Mercado’s role in the show would be given to a another actress.
But Mercado finally dispelled further speculations, announcing that she will go back to taping for “Love, Die, Repeat” in 2022, as per her Twitter page yesterday, Oct. 31. She also thanked her home network, GMA, for being understanding of her condition.
“Maraming salamat sa aking GMA family (Thank you very much to my GMA family) for understanding my condition and allowing me to still finish ‘Love, Die, Repeat’ next year once I am ready to work again,” she said.
“Sobrang thankful ako at tuloy pa rin ang show,” Mercado added. (I am so thankful that the show will still push through.)
Article continues after this advertisementko na hindi lang ako artista sa network, kungdi parte ng pamilya nila. Madami akong pinagdaanan at kung wala ang GMA hindi ko alam kung malalagpasan ko eto.
I am blessed to be a Kapuso. 💕
