Kylie Padilla has called for the passage of the divorce bill after her estranged husband, actor Aljur Abrenica, spoke up last night about their separation.
The actress said this through the hashtag “#passdivorcebill” on her Twitter page also last night, Oct 19. She did not give further explanation regarding her stand on the issue.

Prior to Padilla’s divorce bill Twitter post, Abrenica asked Padilla to “tell them the truth,” seemingly insinuating that the actress cheated on him, as seen on his Facebook page, also yesterday.
“Don’t hide and disguise your comments, statement for your self gain. Tell them who cheated first,” he addressed Padilla. “Tell them who wrecked our family. Tell them why I gave up on you, not on our family.”
Abrenica then pointed out that he has been receiving “attacks” from the public in the wake of their split.
“I do appreciate their reactions because I know it comes from their genuine morality and support towards our family. So they also deserve to know the truth,” he said.
“Have the courage to settle this. Tell your dad the truth. If not for them, do it for our children,” Abrenica added. He also revealed a supposed agreement between him and Padilla on not speaking to the public about their breakup.
Soon after Abrenica’s statement, fans speculated that Padilla may have been indirectly responding to Abrenica through a series of Instagram Stories.
She showed various songs related to a relationship’s end: Adele’s “Easy On Me,” Billie Eilish’s “Happier Than Ever,” Miley Cyrus’ “Wrecking Ball” and Lily Allen’s “Smile.” She also shared a cryptic quote about a man’s gaslighting tendencies.
“Never underestimate a man’s ability to make you feel guilty for his mistakes,” she said. The quote was attributed to singer Rihanna.

Kylie’s father Robin Padilla confirmed the separation of the two last July. He also said the split was caused by a third party and said it is impossible for men to avoid cheating, leading fans and observers to speculate Abrenica cheated on Kylie.
According to Abrenica, the story told by his father-in-law was “one-sided” but he maintained his silence due to his supposed agreement with Kylie.
The actress has since moved to a new home with her sons Alas Joaquin and Axl Romeo. Meanwhile, Abrenica is recently being romantically linked to actress AJ Raval, who confirmed earlier this month that she and Abrenica are “getting to know” each other. JB
