Maymay Entrata pleads for fans to stop romance rumors about her, Donny Pangilinan

Maymay Entrata has once again denied she is in a relationship with Donny Pangilinan and is asking fans to stop spreading romance “rumors” about her and her fellow actor.
The actress clarified that she is not dating Pangilinan on her Twitter page last Saturday, Oct. 2. She also expressed gratitude towards those who support her, including MayDon fans.
“Gusto kong magpasalamat sa bawat isa sa mga sumuporta sa’kin since day one. Sa lahat ng MayDon fans, thank you pero gusto ko rin pong klaruhin na wala pong namamagitan sa aming dalawa,” she said. “Sana ma-stop po ang pag spread ng rumors about sa ‘min.”
(I want to thank every one of you who have supported me since day one. To all MayDon fans, thank you, but I also want to clarify that there is nothing going on between us. I hope rumors about the two of us would stop.)

Entrata and Pangilinan’s fans have been “shipping” them for some time now, after the two bonded in the variety show “ASAP.” The actress’ love team partner Edward Barber said the rumors were not a “big thing” for him and Entrata since they apparently go to the same church as Pangilinan, as seen in his interview with Boy Abunda in August 2019.
Meanwhile, Entrata first denied being in a relationship with Pangilinan through an interview with DJ Jhaiho in June. According to the actress, her interactions with Pangilinan have been “misunderstood.”
“Siguro nagsimula ‘yan kay Donny dahil kasama ko siya lagi sa ‘ASAP.’ Nami-misunderstood nila yung mga galawan namin, yung smile namin na akala nila nagtitinginan,” she told DJ Jhaiho. “Pero hindi po kami ni Donny.”
(I think it started because Donny and I were often together in ‘ASAP.’ People misunderstood our movements and our smiles, thinking we’re looking at each other. But I’m not in a relationship with Donny.)
She also stressed that she does have a special someone who is not from show business, though she did not reveal the person’s identity. JB
