Former “Goin’ Bulilit” cast member Trina Legaspi is seeking prayers for her family who recently tested positive for COVID-19.
The former child star revealed her family’s condition through a series of Instagram Stories today, Sept. 20. She showed a screenshot of what appears to be a video call with several family members.
“Praying for complete healing from COVID-19 for my family and financial provision,” she said while expressing hope that all of them will recover from the disease. “We believe gagaling kami (we will get well) and God, you will provide for us.”
Legaspi also wished for her family to receive “brand new lungs from the Lord” as she prayed for their healing.
Legaspi is known as Hopia in the kids’ comedy program “Goin’ Bulilit,” which ran from 2005 to 2019. She worked in the show alongside Kathryn Bernardo and Julia Montes, among others.
The actress got engaged to her longtime non-showbiz boyfriend Ryan Jarina through a surprise proposal in November last year. The couple plans to tie the knot in the last quarter of 2021. JB
