Air Supply’s Russell Hitchcock has tested positive for the novel coronavirus and is currently recovering in good condition.

Hitchcock broke the news through the official Facebook account of the said iconic duo on Sept. 1, the same day he found out he has COVID-19.

“Hi Everyone, Just wanted to let you know that unfortunately I tested POSITIVE for COVID today and consequently the shows for this weekend in Beverly Hills and Kentucky have been postponed,” he announced.

Hitchcock is currently “doing very well,” as seen in Air Supply’s latest post yesterday, Sept. 2.

“[He] has no fever, no loss of taste or smell and his oxygen levels are excellent … he says he feels great and eating like normal,” the post read.

“[He’s] resting at home and says thank you to all of you who have wished him well … will continue to keep you all updated!!!” it added.

The post came with a photo of the said rock star wearing a mask and holding one hand up forming the peace sign.

After one fan asked in the comments section if both Air Supply members, Graham Russell and Hitchcock, were vaccinated, they replied with a simple “yes.”

Air Supply’s Beverly Hills show has been rescheduled to Nov. 26 this year, while their Kentucky show is indefinitely postponed. They assured fans that they will keep them updated. Ian Biong /ra
