Maureen Wroblewitz dominates Miss Universe PH casting video challenge

Maureen Wroblewitz won the Miss Universe Philippines 2021 best casting video prize, making it the first time she claimed top spot in a challenge for the pageant.
Wroblewitz, a former Asia’s Next Top Model titleholder, has been placing high in the competition’s previous challenges.
The Miss Universe Philippines Organization announced the 15 candidates who scored the highest in the challenge, as seen on a poster on its Facebook page yesterday, Aug. 21.
“Meet the top 15 delegates who dominated our casting video challenge. Congratulations, ladies!” the organization stated.
Laguna’s Leren Mae Bautista and Cebu’s Steffi Rose Aberasturi joined the model in the challenge’s top three.
The casting video challenge’s top 15 was completed by candidates Kisses Delavin, Katrina Dimaranan, Rousanne Marie “Ayn” Bernos, Kamille Alyssa Quiñola, Cheri Angel Anne Flejoles, Noelyn Rose Mabuhay Campos, Maria Corazon Abalos, Gianne Kryssee Tecson Asuncion, Mirjan S. Hipolito, Christelle Abello, Victoria Velasquez Vincent and Beatrice Luigi Gomez.

Wroblewitz, who represents Pangasinan, wore minimal makeup in the casting video where she talked about what makes her happy.
“My cats make me happy, and ice cream,” she said.
Votes were cast through Miss Universe Philippines’s official app from Aug. 16 to 20, the organization stated through an earlier Instagram post. It added that social media engagements had no bearing in the selection of its winners.
The challenge is the fourth since Miss Universe Philippines Organization announced its top 100. Each challenge will trim the roster until only 30 candidates remain.
The organization started with an initial list of 100 delegates, which was trimmed down to 75 earlier this month. It is set to announce its top 50 soon.
All final candidates can be seen at the live coronation ceremony on Sept. 25. JB
