Bea Alonzo is now officially a Kapuso as she signed her contract to join the GMA Network, after about 20 years of being an ABS-CBN talent.

GMA Network made the announcement by showing a photo of the actress during her contract signing today, July 1.

“Bea Alonzo is now #ProudToBEAKapuso as she inks contract with GMA Network. Congratulations!” the network stated on its Twitter page on the same day.

Alonzo was then welcomed into the network through a greeting which features a black-and-white photo of her, also on its Twitter page today.

“She is #ProudToBEAKapuso. Welcome to GMA Network, Bea Alonzo!” the network stated.

Alonzo’s transfer was first teased through a similar photo yesterday. It comes after her former onscreen partner John Lloyd Cruz made his official showbiz comeback at GMA Network last month. Cruz starred opposite Alonzo in several romance films, including “The Mistress,” “Miss You Like Crazy” and “One More Chance,” among others.

The actress is also set to work with Kapuso actor Alden Richards in the much-anticipated Philippine adaptation of the 2004 Korean film “A Moment to Remember.” JB
