SB19 recently teamed up with the folk pop act Ben&Ben for a band version of the SB19 song “MAPA,” which they wrote as a tribute to their parents.
Ben&Ben’s vocalist Paolo Guico stated that he had a pleasant experience during his band’s collaboration with the P-pop group, noting that its members were “chill” and “cheerful” to work with. He also commended SB19’s “selflessness” and how it reflects on the songs that they create.
SB19 was also nominated in three major categories for the Myx Awards 2021, namely Artist of the Year, Song of the Year and Music Video of the Year for their song “Alab.” Fellow artists who were also nominated include Ben&Ben, girl group MNL48, and actress Nadine Lustre, among others. JB
