Alwyn Uytingco asks Jennica Garcia for forgiveness, dismisses other’s opinions

Alwyn Uytingco has asked for forgiveness and expressed love for his estranged wife, actress Jennica Garcia, a month after she confirmed their breakup.
“Mahal kita, [Jennica]. Sorry sa lahat ng pagkukulang ko. Patawad sa lahat ng pagkakamali ko,” the actor addressed Garcia as he showed a photo of them sharing a meal, through his Instagram page yesterday, June 29. (I love you, Jennica. I’m sorry for all of my shortcomings. I’m sorry for all of my mistakes.)
While he did not provide exact details about his supposed shortcomings, he vowed that he will get back up and reunite with the actress.
“Natalisod man ako, hindi ko hahayaan na nandito lang ako. Babangon ako, mahal. At patuloy na babagtas patungo sayo,” he stated. (I may have tripped, but I won’t just let myself stay here. I will get back up, love, and I will continue to make my way to you.)

Uytingco added that other people’s opinion on their relationship does not matter to him, stressing that he only cares about what his wife has to say.
“Di mahalaga kung ano sabihin nila. Ang mahalaga para sa ‘kin ay mga salita na manggagaling sa ‘yo,” he said. (What others say is not important. What’s important for me are the words that come from you.)
This comes after his mother-in-law, Jean Garcia, called him out for being a “disrespectful” son-in-law. Jean also made an earlier declaration that it is “time to say goodbye” despite being in love, a statement that stirred speculations among fans.
Jennica confirmed her split with Uytingco last month. She has since moved to a new home with their children following the separation.
The two got married in 2014, after four years of being a couple. They have two children together, Athena and Severina. JB
